Upcoming Denver-Area Shows

Upcoming concerts in the Denver area for winter & early spring 2012.

We've got some great events coming to Colorado!  In fact, we have some amazing shows on the horizon.  Of course, the bulk of them will be taking place at our lovely Red Rocks Amphitheater, but before the summer gets here, the smaller venues like Ogden Theatre have some exciting shows for all the music lovers.

Radiohead - 3/13/12 - These guys just can't stop selling out venues the world abroad; and we, fellow Coloradans are lucky enough to get a one-off show.  The show is happening tomorrow at the Broomfield Event Center (some still know it as the 1st Bank Center).  Tickets are little scarce right now, as the show's been sold out for a while... but we've got a couple if you're in need!

Flogging Molly - 3/14/12 - Anyone here love some good ol' Celtic punk?  Much to my surprise, these guys aren't from Ireland... they're from Los Angeles, California! Beleive that!  I've been listening to these guys for about 10 years and had no clue.  Anyway, they managed to sell out Ogden about a month before they're show.  Tickets are SUPER scarce, so if you're looking to go... Craigslist is probably your best bet, but don't be surprised if people are asking a premium price for these hot tickets!

Denver Nuggets v Boston Celtics - 3/17/12 - Denver... we're one lucky city this year.  Not only is Flogging Molly doing a show just before St. Paddie's day, but the Boston Celtics are coming to play our very own Denver Nuggets on St. Paddie's day!  Unfortunately, you will be boo'd for wearing green to the game, and pinched a few thousand times if you dont.  I would suggest green underoos with the proper Nuggets attire for safe measure.  Tickets are plentiful for this game... and get this, you can get them cheaper through us than you can the box office!  How's that for a deal?

Fun. - 4/5/12 - If you're not aware, Fun. sold out the Bluebird in no-time-flat and was subsequently moved to Ogden... were it promptly sold out again.  This new top 40 band will surely please the Denver crowd as evidenced by their previous shows in other cities.  Tickets are few and far between and come at a premium.  You'll need to scour Craigslist or check out the tickets on our site.  In the meantime, give them a listen here:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sv6dMFF_yts

Gotye - 4/6/12 -  Another Bluebird transplant show and one of my personal favorites, Gotye, will be making an appearance with Kimbra at the Ogden the night after Fun. Gotye's been lighting up faces and peaking up radio volumes all of the USA since the beginning of the year.  Nearly every venue he's played on his US tour has sold out months before the actual show, and many have been moved to larger venues... sometimes moved 3 times in the same city (Chicago)!  There are tickets available on the secondary market, but brokers are asking a major premium to get these rare slips of paper... I suggest you peruse Craigslist, and if you have no luck there, come back to TicketProxy.  Give Gotye and Kimbra a listen, you'll likely LOVE it:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8UVNT4wvIGY

Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers - 4/18/12 & 4/19/12 - An oldie, but none the less a goody, Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers will be making a double appearance due to popular demand.  They sold out the first show at Broomfield Event Center (former 1st Bank Center) rather quickly, then added a second show the following day.  If you're a fan and want to see them... better grab some tickets quick!  They're sold out but TicketProxy's got some!

The Black Keys & Arctic Monkeys - 04/30/12 & 5/1/12 - Denver, we just can't stop selling out great bands!  Selling out in the good way of course.  The Black Keys will be joined with Arctic Monkeys for a double show at Broomfield Event Center.  Just like the other bands... sold out... but there's a plethora of tickets on the secondary market.

Well folks, that's your rundown of upcoming events through the end of April, 2012.  Be on the lookout for more posts detailing events from May into the summer!  Anyone plan on going to any of these shows?  Which ones are you excited for?
